Glacial Lakes State Park has 16 miles of established hiking trails including a 0.8 mile self-guided interpretive trail. During the summer months, 9 miles of those trails are also designaed for horseback riding.

In the winter, 8.5 miles of snowmobile and 6 miles of cross-country ski trails which are not groomed.

Most of the trails meander through the prairie hill displaying an abundance of wildflowers, grasses and wildlife. The prairie changes all year round, so even though the trail remains the same, the sights and sounds of the surrounding environment are different every time you go for a hike at Glacial Lakes State Park
