Swim, fish or boat (electric motors only) in the
fresh, clear waters of 56-acre Signalness Lake. Canoe and kayak rentals are
available There are 16 miles of hiking trails to use and if you want do a
little bike riding you can use the newly upgraded Glacial Ridge Bike Trail from
Starbuck, MN to Glacial Lakes State Park. The park has great camping and
swimming and six camper cabins for rent - four have
electricity.
Glacial Lakes State Park has
over 14 miles of horse trails to ride and sightsee. The park is planning to add
several more miles of trail in the near future.
Bird watching is a year
round enjoyment at Glacial Lakes State Park. A great variety of birds can be
found here from the lowly sparrow to the might bald eagle.
Since 2010 the park has
shared a naturalist with Lake Carlos State Park. The naturalist will be
presenting a number of programs and the various geographic, fawna and fona of
the park
