Winter activity at Glacial Lakes State Park has always been varied depending on the snow fall and maintainence. Before the advent of snowmobles downhill sleding and cross country sking were the main activities in the park during the winter season. However, today's world has a wider range of activities in the park. Cross country sking is still very popular with 6 miles of groomed trails for visitors to use. There are 11 miles of snowmoble trails to use and if you want to try out your snowshoes you can go anywhere in the park
